Our Elders

It is no secret nor illusion within these times that we are losing our youth in more manners than one. They have been affected by a poisonous musical culture and also by a wicked government system that has crippled its own economy that not only help produce of them a violent moral rebellion, but a system of so-called law in which protects a form and state of rebellion that the government claims to condemn.

In this affect, our elders are being killed in the streets of this country by the same youth. These are the same elders who marched for us, were bitten by police dogs and lied too, in terms of their civil right in denying them of their human rights. We have our youth killing one another that is upon a rising level and rate of profound consistency; and they have absolutely no fear of offending human beings, because they have not been taught to respect the laws of morality as well as the common laws of the land; and so they are becoming in time animals and not human beings.

There is an affect as though there is a vice grip pressuring and squeezing, bleeding the morality out of our community upon 2 ends, and that is our elders who represent our beginning and the youth who are supposed to represent our future. This leaves the responsibility upon those who are of the middle aged group; you know, the wise, the knowledgeable and the humble ones. Us!

This is just a reminder that things are not as they seem in the beliefs given to us, in the literature, the religions and the rest of the monotony. The truth lye’s right outside of our doors of where the living and moving issues are made real. If the elders are not respected by the youth, then they both will perish. And if they both perish, then the community dies.

Find some vital time to invest in the community and what is happening to see what can be done. It is time for a healing in our community as well as an evolution of the mind; and we cannot look for anyone else to do it for us. We have to love our present enough to guarantee a future for us.

Coming up in Chicago as a young man, I had cultivated an anger issue. I found that it was because of my mind being open to matters of society which I at the time had no clarity of; and to not understand does not increase the anger, but only sustain it depending upon the desire of the person to understand. I had no one in my environment to help me to understand the anger and where it was coming from or even give me insight to what “anger is within itself.” This is important in understand what anger “is” instead of only limiting the observation of anger to what you are angry, “at.” What we are angry “at” has no meaning if anger itself is not clearly understood in its nature.
